Getting help
Email [email protected]. That is the whole support system. There is no ticket portal, no chatbot, and no account to log into.
It helps if you can include:
- what you were doing, and what happened instead
- your iPhone or Apple Watch model and which version of iOS or watchOS you are on
- the version of Yetly (Settings, at the bottom)
- a screenshot, if there is something to see
None of that is required. “The reminder never came” is a perfectly good email.
How long you will wait
Usually a few days. One inbox, one person, so no same-day promises, but every email gets read and every email gets an answer.
If a week goes by with nothing, please send it again. It means the first one got lost, not that it got ignored.

Where is my data?
On your phone, and nowhere else.
Your things live in Yetly’s own storage on your device. There is no account, no server, and no copy anywhere that I can see. I could not look at your list if I wanted to, because it never leaves your hand. The Apple Watch app reads the same data because it is the same app on paired hardware, not because anything travels through a cloud.

How do I move to a new phone?
Two ways, and both work.
The easy way. Restore your new phone from an iPhone backup (iCloud or a computer). Yetly’s data comes across with everything else, and there is nothing extra to do.
The deliberate way. On the old phone, open Settings in Yetly and tap Export a backup. You get a small file, and you choose where it goes (AirDrop it, message it to yourself, save it into Files). On the new phone, open Settings and tap Restore a backup, then pick that file.
A restore only ever adds and updates. It will not delete anything already on the new phone, so there is no way to lose things by tapping the wrong row. Restoring the same file twice does nothing at all, and Yetly will tell you so.
One thing to know: because Yetly does not sync, your two phones will not stay in step with each other. The backup is a snapshot from the moment you exported it.
Do I need to be online?
No. Yetly works entirely offline, always. It makes no network requests at all, so there is no loading, no signing in, and nothing to lose on a plane or in a basement. The only time your device needs the internet is to download the app itself, and that is Apple’s part, not Yetly’s.
What does Yetly cost?
Nothing. Yetly is free, in full, with no in-app purchases, no subscription, no trial, and no paid tier. There is no limit on how many things you can keep, and no feature held back for a paid version.
There are no ads either, and no analytics. Yetly makes no network requests at all, so there is nothing to sell and nobody to sell it to.
My reminders are not arriving
A few things to check, in order:
- Yetly’s own switch. Settings in Yetly, make sure gentle reminders are on, and look at the time of day it is set to.
- iOS permission. iPhone Settings, Notifications, Yetly. If notifications are off there, Yetly cannot send anything. If you said no during the first-run intro, this is where you say yes.
- Focus modes. A Focus or Do Not Disturb schedule can hold notifications back. Allowing Yetly in that Focus fixes it.
- Low Power Mode, which can delay delivery.
Worth knowing either way: Yetly is a gentle nudge, not a guarantee. iOS decides when a local notification actually lands, so please do not lean on Yetly alone for medication or anything where a missed reminder really matters. Use a tool built for that.
Can I track something every few hours?
Not in Yetly. A day is the smallest interval, on purpose. Things measured in hours (medication doses, for instance) run on a fixed clock, which is a different shape of problem, and one quiet nudge at 2am is one you sleep through. Alarms and Apple Reminders are better at that job, and Yetly is happy to be the “every couple of weeks” app.
How do I delete everything?
Settings in Yetly, then Start fresh. It clears every thing from this device. It asks you once first, and it cannot be undone, so export a backup beforehand if you might want any of it later.
Deleting the app also removes everything: your things, your settings, and any reminders it had scheduled.
Does Yetly sync between my iPhone and my iPad, or my partner’s phone?
Not yet. Yetly is on-device only today, and it does not sync across devices or share a list with another person. Export and restore is the way to move things between devices for now.
Syncing your own devices with iCloud is the thing I most want to build next. When it exists, I will say so, and it will be free like the rest of the app.
Asking for a feature
Please do. Email [email protected] with “feature” somewhere in the subject line, and tell me what you were trying to do rather than the button you want. “I keep forgetting which plant I watered when I have three of them” is more useful than “add tags”, because it leaves room for a better answer than either of us thought of first.
Two things worth saying up front:
- Most requests are good and still will not be built. Yetly stays calm partly by staying small.
- Some are deliberate no’s rather than backlog items. No streaks, no scores, no badges, nothing that makes you feel behind. If a request needs one of those to work, I will say so and say why.
